Ryan's World, formerly Ryan ToysReview, is a YouTube channel, launched in March 2015, which stars a then-preschooler cheery little child, Ryan Kaji, unboxing and reviewing toys.
Seems boring to you? Guess again. He was considered the youngest YouTube celebrity and his channel is tenth most viewed (46 billion!) in the world, thanks to children being the Target Audience and getting their hands on technology more frequently than ever. The channel has set the Guinness World Record for the most viewed YouTube channel starring someone born post-2000. No, seriously. In other words, the Trope Codifier of children's toy review channels on YouTube.
Besides toy unboxing videos, he also stars in videos showing him in playtime, visiting fun points of interests, doing harmless challenges, making DIY things, and performing Edutainment. There are animations and children's songs to watch too. Pretty entertaining for a child to watch and love.
Ryan's World has spawned a Franchise of the same name, owned by pocket.watch and complete with its own toy line and currently 8 Spin-Off channels:
- Kaji Family, formely Ryan's Family Review, is a vlog channel, launched in November 2016, showcasing the daily life of and fun moments in Ryan and his family. The channel also used to be a host for Ryan's Lets Plays, with Roblox being played usually, until VTubers (see below) was launched.
- Gus the Gummy Gator is a Puppet Show and Vlog Series, launched in February 2017, featuring a gummy-loving alligator, Gus, who does entertaining activities, participates in songs and stories, and does Lets Plays occassionally. In short words, it's Ryan ToysReview but with an alligator puppet starring.
- Combo Panda is a Let's Play and Video Game review channel, launched in August 2017, starring an animated self-proclaimed "hardcore" gamer panda.
- Princess Squad, formerly Princess ToysReview, is a toy review channel, launched in June 2016, starring Ryan's aunt, Princess Thi, and her sister, Princess Pham. It is targeted to more general audiences than Ryan. They also have a vlog channel called Life Sisters, which was formerly ABC Surprises, an Edutainment and occasional Puppet Show channel which was launched in January 2016 by Thi and with videos that teach simple educational concepts with toys.
- The Studio Space is a channel, launched in February 2018, showcasing behind the scenes, Bloopers, and Ryan having fun in the office.
- VTubers note Virtual YouTubers, not to be confused with the genre of online peformers is a duel Let's Play channel, launched in March 2018, branching off Combo Panda with Combo Panda himself, Ryan, Ryan's parents, Gus the Gummy Gator, Big Gil and Peck the Penguin from Gus the Gummy Gator, and a new Virtual Celebrity, Alpha Lexa.
- EK Doodles is a Web Stick Figure Animation series, launched in August 2018, following the adventures of Ryan's twin sisters, Emma and Kate.
View the channel here, as well as Ryan's Family Review, Gus the Gummy Gator, Combo Panda, Princess Squad, Life Sisters, The Studio Space, VTubers, and EK Doodles. The official website is here.
In December 2018, Ryan's World and pocket.watch collaborated with WildWorks of Animal Jam fame to create an Endless Running Mobile Phone Game, Tag with Ryan, which is pretty much Animal Jam's Dash Tag but with Ryan's World characters.
In 2019, he started production on his own TV show called Ryans Mystery Playdate, created and produced by pocket.watch. The show follows Ryan and his parents completing challenges and solving puzzles to gather hints in order to unbox their Mystery Playdate, a "Sesame Street" Cred. The trailer is here and you can (legally) watch the first episode here.
A licensed Mascot Racer title, Race with Ryan, debuted on Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch in November 2019.
In 2020, another television show based on Ryan's World was announced, a live-action/anime show called Super Spy Ryan, for Amazon Kids Plus+. His Superpowered Alter Ego, Red Titan, was also represented as a balloon in the 2020 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Please note that this page will never be complete, thanks to a load of videos being uploaded daily. Feel free to put some tropes in.

Ryan's World and Kaji Family
General
- A Day in the Limelight: Extreme Spicy Noodle Challenge is only done by Ryan's parents. Justified, since too much spicy food can be harmful to a young child's health.
- Anthropomorphic Animal Adaptation: "Daddy the Bunny" is simply a retelling of how Ryan's parents met, set in a World Of Funny Animal rabbits.
- Be Yourself: The Aesop of "Daddy the Bunny", in which Daddy and Mommy are made fun of, because the former is a video game and anime Geek and the latter has two tails that glows in the sun.
- Bumbling Dad: When it comes to trivia challenges, Daddy gets all the answers wrong.
- Captain Ersatz: Ryan does not meet Pac-Man in "Pac-Man in Real Life meets Ryan!!!!". He meets Gus the Gummy Gator's head who resembles Pac-Man.
- Cheerful Child: Ryan is often this. Just look at a random video and you'll see.
- Defanged Horrors: DO NOT MAKE FLUFFY SLIME AT 3am or 3pm! and Do not spin a fidget spinner at 3am or 3pm! note Both are based on the 3 AM legend, with an obviously fake Bedsheet Ghost in former and Tyrannosaurus Rex in the latter.
- Distressed Dude: Dad in Ryan saves daddy with magical wand
- Early Installment Weirdness: Just compare the first video, along with some other early videos, to the recent videos. You'll see that the production and effort put into the videos have improved A LOT.
- Edutainment: Some of the videos are meant to educate children about various things. An example involving learning Spanish and Japanese with animals.
- The Game Plays You: In "Pac-Man In Real Life meets Ryan", Ryan is playing Pac-Man on his iPad. The iPad starts to electrocute and a Gus the Gummy Gator version of Pac-Man comes to life. Daddy does this again and oh no...
- Kid Hero: Ryan is this in some of the playtime videos and all of the animations.
- Large Ham: Mommy uses her loud yet sugary voice a lot, particularly when it comes to hosting the challenges and games.
- Long Title: Most videos have an overly long title, which makes it difficult to determine the video's actual title. Some, mostly the earlier ones, have random keywords jumbled up in the title.
- Mall Santa: Ryan meets one at Disney World in Ryan and Babies first time meeting the real Santa Claus at Disney. note The reason the title says that the Santa Claus is real, because Ryan's a kid and he doesn't know much.
- Mr. Imagination: This is natural to any child, including Ryan. He expresses this in some videos, which makes them come to real life with special effects.
- Now Buy the Merchandise: Ever since Ryan ToysReview got his own toyline, the franchise, Ryan's World, has been doing this.
- Pixellation: The videos apply blurs to people who did not oblige to appear in the video, such as Ryan in New York Time Square.
- Please Subscribe to Our Channel: At the end of every video, Ryan will ask the viewer to subscribe to his channel "for more videos".
- Product Placement: Since this is a successful toy review channel, expect some videos to be Toy Commercials paid by the toy manufacturers.
- Public Domain Soundtrack: All of the videos, including the Spin-Off channels, use royalty free music. They even cover up the game audio during Let's Play videos.
- Roger Rabbit Effect: These three Halloween songs show Ryan and his parents among animated characters and puppets.
- Shaped Like Itself: Ryan ToysReview now has a toy line.
- Sick Episode: Sick Kid with fever!
- Spoiled Brat: Defied. His mother states that most of the toys reviewed are given away to friends, family, and, of course, charity.
- Unnamed Parent: Ryan's parents are only referred to "Mommy" and "Daddy". However, VTubers reveal their names as Loann (Mom) and Sean (Dad).
Let's Play NOTE: Since the launch of VTubers, Kaji Family no longer uploads Lets Plays. Please only include tropes that have appeared in Let's Plays posted on Kaji Family, not tropes that only appeared in Ryan's videos on VTubers.
- Age-Inappropriate Art: Ryan plays Zombie Attack on Roblox , with realistic guns and Family-Unfriendly Violence.
- Cutaway Gag: These videos are CHOCK-FULL of them, that we would need a separate page to list all of them.
