As a coach, I can't tell you the number of times I needed a blank court diagram.

They work great for drawing up plays and drills for practice plans and scouting reports.

They make excellent shot charts during games. Plot the shooter's number at the spot of the shot, and circle it if the basket is made. It's a quick and easy way to see your team's shot selection and shooting percentage.

They're perfect to use at coaching clinics or when I find a new play or drill that I want to jot down quickly before I forget it. I tried to leave a little white space around the diagrams when possible for extra notes or comments.

Because your needs will vary I've included a variety of sizes and layouts of court diagrams.

The full court diagrams are great for drawing up fast break offenses, full court presses, or any other transitions.

The half court templates are useful for drawing up offensive and defensive player rotations, ball movement, screens, etc.

The smaller half court grids are perfect for breaking down complex plays into individual steps. Each frame can show the step-by-step rotation of players as the ball is moved around the court. When a pass is made or the player with the ball dribbles to a new area of the floor, each player's adjustments and rotation can be noted.

I've found that when players are learning a new offensive set, it's helpful for them to follow their movement one pass at a time throughout the entire offensive sequence.

Likewise, when the focus is on defense, player rotations can be charted frame by frame for each scenario presented by the opponent's offense.
